The company’s theme of “Value with Technology” is a perfect description for its new XXL product line featuring weighted technology. The XXL product group consists of a line of drivers, fairway woods, hybrid clubs and a combo iron set that are designed to be the easiest hitting clubs on the market. Ian Woosnam, Captain of the 2006 European Ryder Cup Team worked with HiPPO designers to help develop these user-friendly clubs.
“Having a world class professional like Ian Woosnam available to assist with the design of our new products is very beneficial for us,” said David Dixon, President, Hippo Golf. “We’re very pleased with the new XXL line and look forward to working with Ian on more exciting new products in the future.”
The XXL 450CC Beta Titanium Driver, Maraging Steel Fairway Woods and Hybrid clubs incorporate adjustable weighted technology to meet the needs of individual golfers. Two additional weighted screws are provided, allowing golfers to customize the weight of the club head and adjust the flight pattern of the ball. The XXL Hybrid Iron set is designed to provide the ultimate in forgiveness, distance, and control. This set allows golfers to hit their long irons with the forgiveness and distance of their fairway woods while providing the control of a traditional iron. The XXL Combo Iron set is the perfect match between forgiveness and playability. The 3 and 4 irons in the set have been replaced with easier to hit hybrids that provide the distance and forgiveness of a wood with the control of an iron.
The new ladies Magia Hybrid Iron set have been designed specifically for women to provide the ultimate in forgiveness, distance and control. This set allows the golfer to hit her long irons with the forgiveness and distance of her fairway woods, while providing the control of a traditional iron. The ladies Magia clubs are also available in an attractively priced boxed set consisting of a driver, four fairway woods, six irons, a putter and a deluxe cart bag.
At the PGA Show, Hippo relaunches the popular Viper series of cart and stand bags that cover the key price points with the best features, hottest styles
and colors, and latest materials available.
The popular ITX 2 product line with Integrated Technology that combines titanium, steel and carbon to create the best performing woods, irons and hybrids continues. In 2005, Golf Magazine awarded the ITX 2 Hybrids as the “Best Value” hybrid on the market.
